Dear K-3rd Guardians,
We are so excited to host you for our upcoming parent-teacher conferences. This year we are working to provide parents and teachers with opportunities to visit with one another about our students' progress and growth in the first nine weeks of school. You will receive a PTC Fast Sign-Up link to register for a time slot to visit with your child’s homeroom teacher. To encourage questions between staff and parents, we have attached your students report card and ND A+ results. Please review the information and come with any questions you have so that your student’s conference is based on areas you’d like to discuss.
We would also like to share a helpful resource for parents that you can access at home. Here is a link to a foundational resource we use at school that you may find helpful for your student as you review their results from the first nine weeks of school.
IXL is a comprehensive learning program offering unlimited math, language arts, science, and social studies practice across thousands of skills-all of which are aligned to North Dakota Standards. One of the best things about IXL is that your child can access it from home, so you have a chance to see your child's progress! To get your child started on your home computer, please follow these easy steps:
Go to https://www.ixl.com/signin/mckenzie
Enter your child's username and password and click "Sign in."
(Hint: The username and password are your student’s 4-digit lunch number.)
Click on any skill to start learning!
We are looking forward to our upcoming conferences on November 12th and 13th and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at the school.
Thank you!
Mrs. Stansfield
