Billie Dixon

Billie was a tremendous athlete for Watford City from 1977 until 1980. She was an outstanding athlete in Girls basketball and Track! In basketball she was a 5 year letter winner. She was 3 year all District player, unanimous all state player in 1978 and 1979 and a Converse all American player in 1980. Her scoring record was 1714 points and was prior to the addition of the 3 point line. Billie was the Athlete of the year in 1980 and was selected to play on the North Dakota all star team that toured Europe in 1980. In addition to achievements in high school, Billie went on to accomplish many great things. She was selected to the Jamestown College Athletic Hall of Fame in both Cross Country and Track & Field | The UND-Williston Teton - Athletic Hall of Fame for Women's Basketball and in 2022 she was inducted to the Grand Forks Central High School - Athletic Hall of Fame as a Coach
