A little about Mr. Green

I graduated from Wahpeton High School in Wahpeton, North Dakota in 2008. From there, I attained a BSEd degree in Mathematics from Northern State University in 2012. I went on to teach for a year and a half in Minnesota then 4 years in North Dakota. Along the way, I earned an MS degree in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2016. In 2018 I accepted the position of Activities Director for Watford City High School. In 2019 I moved over and became the Assistant Principal of Watford City High School.

My wife Noelle is also an educator and is currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Watford City Middle School. We have two children, Molly (5) and Henry (2). Our jobs and children keep us quite busy but in our free time, we really enjoy getting outdoors and exploring the Badlands.

I was born and raised in Bowbells, ND. My family farmed, and my mother was a kindergarten teacher until she had children of her own. My parents’ love and respect for education led me down its road, and I received my Graduate Degree from the University of Mary in 2002. I found myself over the next 18 years teaching high school English and speech first in Fargo, ND, for one year, and then in Grand Forks. I have continued my own education, receiving my Master’s in Communication from the University of North Dakota in 2007, and then my Doctorate of Education from the University of Mary in 2018.

My husband is originally from Bowbells, ND, as well, and we have one daughter. We are excited to join the community of Watford City and look forward to being closer to family.
