Career & Technical Education (CTE)
CTE Program Areas
Watford City High School is very diverse with our Career and Technical Education class offerings. Agriculture, Healthcare, Family and Consumer Science, Information Technology, and Business are just a few of the pathways that students can choose as they expand their knowledge through elective offerings. It is our goal to teach and help students develop skills in an area that focuses on building their foundational career path.
CTSO
Career and Technical Student Organizations like FFA, DECA, FCCLA are a great way for students to get involved. Through these programs, Students can grasp team values, parliamentary procedures, goal setting and accomplishment.
Career Readiness and CWE
The combination of CTE programs with industry partners opens the doors for students to participate in Cooperative Work Experience. Students see a new perspective into their future with hands-on experience of the skills they have developed through their pathway CTE classes.
