North Dakota is known for its extreme winter weather, and it's important to be prepared. Below are some helpful resources to ensure the safety and well-being of your student during the winter months.

Blue Day - "Blue Day” is when the weather is questionable if
school buses can get through to the outlying area, due to snow or other road conditions.

Things to Know - Safety is the number one priority in addressing weather related situations on student
contact days. Careful consideration is made in determining changes to the school
schedule related to weather conditions.

Weather Procedures - If school is starting late, the Transportation Department has posted the new times of the bus pick-ups to accommodate the late start of school

Winter Transportation - Early out or Late starts when it comes to transportation

Virtual Learning Days - A Virtual Learning Day accomodates education and learning for regularly scheduled in-school days when students cannot be transported safely to their school building.
