We believe participation in activities is an integral part of the education process. There are so many life skills that are taught and learned through participation in an activity. These skills include perseverance, resiliency, toughness, punctuality, teamwork, accountability, responsibility and grit, just to name a few. We sincerely hope you choose to participate in something. We have a wide variety of offerings on the athletic and activities side. We believe there is something for everyone. Go Wolves!

A little bit about Mr. Foss:

I was born in Sioux City, Iowa, grew up in may different towns, graduating high school from Mott in 1979. I went to Dickinson State College graduating in 1983 with a Double Major in Biology and PE. I then started teaching in Columbus, ND for two years, taught in Stanley, ND for 2 years, taught in Dickinson Trinity for 20 years. I became an Administrator in Hazen for 4 years and now have been here in Watford City for 8 years. During my career I have coached girls basketball for 23 years, Boys basketball for 8 years, Track for 24 years, Volleyball for 15 years and have been an Athletic Director for 12 years. I received my Masters of Education in 2009 in Educational Leadership. I am married to Bonnie Foss and have three kids Mariah, Jillian, and Brady and have 2 grandkids Boston and Ashanti!
